Our goal is a creative change of attitudes. We want to increase the potential of creative industries by helping establish an open dialogue between the business and culture communities. Another aim is to improve the collaboration between the public and private sectors, so that creative specialists could be involved in increasingly professional entrepreneurial activity, thereby expanding the operational volume of creative industries in Central Finland.
The LINKO project has set out to improve the entrepreneurial expertise of creative industries. Its training is targeted specifically at self-employed people and people thinking about starting, invigorating or expanding their own business. The contents and needs of this type of training are determined in the interviews carried out by the creative forum.
LINKO offers training in marketing and communication skills, networking, taxation, profitability calculations and contract negotiations, among others. The idea is to provide help in designing and managing a coherent plan of action in order to be able to start business operations and/or engage in profitable entrepreneurship.
Jyvaskyla University of Applied Sciences, School of Cultural Studies is implementing this project with support from the European Social Fund.
